Arkansas's Consent to
Adoption Law

The consent may be signed any time, however, it is not filed with the court until after the birth of the child.

Pre-consents are allowed in the state of Arkansas.

Revocation Time Frame in Arkansas

The consent may be revoked up to 5 days after the birth. However, if the 5th day falls on a weekend, the birth mother has until the following Monday to revoke her consent.
